Are you prepared for Christmas? If not, you are in luck because Advent is a season of preparation. It is a time to slow down and contemplate what, and who matters. During Advent, we are to be still and get a new sense of wonder for God and God’s amazing gift of Jesus to the world.
To help create a season of preparation and contemplation, our children will once again deck the halls and choirs will sing carols. However, instead of doing it in one service they will do it over the four Sundays in Advent. Each Sunday will feature one of the choirs. Each Sunday will also include a presentation by the Bible School children on the symbols and traditions of Advent/Christmas. Advent will conclude with the children’s Christmas Pageant on the fourth Sunday followed by candlelight worship on Christmas Eve.
