The annual Deacons’ Retreat was held on January 20th, 2018 in the Metzger Room. Carol Weiss, Spiritual Director, presented “The Beatitudes and Other Surprises “ . Those attending discussed how the Beatitudes, written thousands of years ago, impact our lives in this modern age. This was Carol’s third Retreat with us, and once again, she did a wonderful job. Everyone left with a beautiful hand-made journal and several spiritual mementos, lovingly crafted by Carol. It was an uplifting experience and I recommend this Retreat to everyone and hope to see you next year!
